Air Tran Makes Move to Terminal 4

With Southwest Airlines’ acquisition of Air Tran, some changes have taken place. Air Tran, which operates two flights per day in the summer and five flights per day in the winter, serves Atlanta and Milwaukee from Phoenix Sky Harbor. Flights will continue operating as Air Tran flights, and Air Tran will maintain separate operations from Southwest for the near future. However, operations have moved from Terminal 3 to Terminal 4.

Air Tran’s ticket counter is now located next to Southwest and the airline will run operations primarily out of Gate C14. For travelers who are using both Southwest and Air Tran for their flights, this means that they will no longer have to change terminals to do so and the process will be much more seamless.
