Parking Tips to Ease Your Traveling Experience
Preparing for a trip can sometimes be challenging, but deciding where to park at Phoenix Sky Harbor doesn’t have to be. There are many parking options depending on the terminal you’re using. The most convenient option of course is to park in the terminal garages. This is an easy way to save you time as you can park and walk right into the terminal rather than having to catch a shuttle. Concerned about the cost? Several times a year, Phoenix Sky Harbor offers a parking promotion coupon that can save you money. Sign up to be on our mailing list by clicking here.
Looking for economy parking? Depending on which terminal you are flying out of, there are several options. If you’re leaving from Terminal 2 or Terminal 3, the West Economy lot is very convenient, but is popular with travelers and can sometimes fill up. Travelers leaving from these terminals will also find parking in the Economy section of the Terminal 2 Parking Garage. This section provides covered parking for only $11 per day. There is also a Daily parking section in the Terminal 2 garage for $25 per day. The Daily parking spaces provide the shortest walk to Terminal 2. From the Terminal 2 garage, you simply walk across the street to Terminal 2 or take a short bus ride to Terminal 3 with no additional stops.
If you are flying out of Terminal 4, the East Economy surface lot is very popular, but the East Economy garages are also an excellent option. Other than parking right in the terminal garage, the East Economy Garages are the most convenient and offer the quickest access to Terminal 4. During busy travel times it is often easier to find a space. The East Economy Garage is only $2 more per day than the uncovered East Economy surface lot, but it is more convenient and will keep you and your vehicle out of the blistering sun. Bus service is more frequent during peaks at the bus stop servicing the East Economy garages.
Finding the East Economy garages is easy. Simply follow the roadway signs to East Economy parking. Enter the East Economy surface lot by pulling a ticket. Drive around to the East Economy garages, insert your ticket into the machine at the garage entrance. The machine will code your ticket for garage parking, return it to you, and allow you to enter. Be sure to take your ticket with you so that you can use the express pay option when you return from your trip. This allows you to pay for parking in the lobby of the Economy garage and exit through the express lane.
