Phoenix Sky Harbor Receives Another Perfect FAA Inspection
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is pleased to announce that it received a perfect score in its recent Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification inspection. Each year, Phoenix Sky Harbor and major airports around the country are required to undergo a rigorous inspection to ensure compliance with federal aviation regulations.
During the comprehensive inspection, officials carefully audit inspection records, fueling procedures and emergency response procedures. Employee training records are examined to make sure that training is up-to-date. The entire airfield is also evaluated to guarantee that it is safe for air traffic. The FAA inspection found zero discrepancies in its evaluation. This is the seventh perfect inspection in the last eight years for Phoenix Sky Harbor.
“Airport staff work together throughout the year to ensure that Sky Harbor is in compliance with the FAA’s requirements for the certification and operation of the Airport,” said Assistant Aviation Director Chad Makovsky. “We are very proud of this achievement.”
Safety, security and customer service are top priorities for Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, and the collaborative work of airport staff has once again resulted in an outstanding achievement.
