Santa to Visit Phoenix Deer Valley Airport during the Holiday Season

The holidays are approaching and what better way get a little holiday spirit than seeing Santa Claus? For one day in November as well as during the month of December, visitors to the Deer Valley Airport Restaurant will be treated to visits by Santa. Santa will be visiting the Phoenix Deer Valley Airport from the North Pole, and will be arriving by helicopter outside the restaurant patio (the reindeer will be staying with the elves at home). Santa will spend several hours at the restaurant visiting and talking to local children. Parents are encouraged to take pictures at this event, which is free of charge.

Deer Valley Airport Restaurant owner Voula Papamatheakis said this is the fourth year in a row that they have hosted Santa and the visits are quite popular among area children and parents. Santa’s scheduled visits will take place for a few hours on each day beginning at the times listed here:

  • November 27: 10:00 a.m.
  • December 4: 10:00 a.m.
  • December 11: 10:00 a.m.
  • December 12: 3:00 p.m.
  • December 18: 10:00 a.m.
  • December 19: 3:00 p.m.

Those who are visiting the Deer Valley Airport Restaurant will enjoy watching the planes take off and land. In fact, the Deer Valley Airport Restaurant is one of the best places in Phoenix to do so. The restaurant offers sit-down service and will feature breakfast, lunch and dinner specials during Santa’s visit. A wide-variety of menu selections are available so attendees will not only be able to visit with Santa but enjoy a tasty meal as well.
