Phoenix Deer Valley Airport to Host Santa
As the holidays approach, many children can’t wait to see Santa Claus. During the month of December, visitors to the Deer Valley Airport Restaurant will be in for a treat as Santa will visit three times. Santa will be leaving the reindeer at the North Pole as he visits the Phoenix Deer Valley Airport. Instead, he will arrive by helicopter outside the restaurant patio and spend a couple hours visiting and talking to local children. Goody bags will be handed out inside the restaurant. Parents are encouraged to attend and take photos at this event which is free of charge.
Deer Valley Airport Restaurant owner Voula Papamatheakis said this is the third year in a row that they have hosted Santa. Last year, there were nearly 200 children in one day which is why this year they have invited him to visit the airport restaurant three days in December. Santa’s scheduled visits will take place as follows:
- December 19: 10:00 a.m. – noon
- December 20: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Those who are visiting the Deer Valley Airport Restaurant will enjoy watching the planes take off and land. In fact, the Deer Valley Airport Restaurant is one of the best places in Phoenix to do so. The restaurant offers sit-down service and will feature breakfast, lunch and dinner specials during Santa’s visit.
Phoenix Deer Valley Airport is located at 7th Avenue and Deer Valley Road in north Phoenix. Parking is free.
