Sky Harbor Recognized for Customer Service

Phoenix Sky Harbor has been recognized for its outstanding service, top-notch leadership and excellent concessions program. Airport Revenue News (ARN) magazine named Sky Harbor’s Terminal 4 the “Terminal with the Best Customer Service” during its annual Conference and Exhibition in Maryland. Terminal 4 serves about 80 percent of Sky Harbor passengers.

Each year, ARN an established industry publication, honors airports and concessions in its Best Airport & Concessionaire Awards. ARN gives awards ranging from best concession design to best overall retailer as well as best customer service. All interested industry professionals have the opportunity to place their votes.

Though this is the first time that Phoenix Sky Harbor has received the Terminal with the Best Customer Service award, the Airport is no stranger to ARN honors. Most recently, Aviation Director Danny Murphy was named ARN 2010 Director of the Year for the Large/Medium airport category. Murphy was honored at the National Conference and Exhibition as well as being featured on the cover of the December 2010/January 2011 issue of Airport Revenue News. Additionally, in 2010, Phoenix Sky Harbor was awarded in a three-way tie, the Airport with the Best Overall Concessions Program Award in the Large Airport category. In 2009, Phoenix Sky Harbor was awarded the Best Concessions Program Design in the Large Airport Division.
