A Destination Filled with History and Excitement

Have you been to Boston? With nonstop flights from Phoenix on American, Delta, JetBlue, and Spirit, it’s an easy trip to get to Bean Town and experience everything it has to offer.

Here are some ideas to help you plan your trip:

Boston has a very rich history and what better way to experience it than walking the Freedom Trail? The trail takes you past 16 historically significant landmarks of the American Revolution including the Old State House, Paul Revere’s House, Old North Church, the USS Constitution, Bunker Hill and more. Pro tip: Grab an Italian pastry from Bova Bakery or Mike’s Bakery as you walk between The Paul Revere House and Old North Church. The sites along the Freedom Trail could easily fill a day. Pick and choose what you want to visit depending upon your interests.

Faneuil Hall Marketplace is another spot along the trail. This marketplace includes shops, restaurants, and has various street performances.

Like sports? Don’t miss catching a baseball game at Fenway Park, America’s oldest ballpark.

A stroll through the Boston Common and Public Garden is also highly recommended. It’s the oldest public park in the U.S. provides a beautiful backdrop to the city. Enjoy meandering the paths or take a ride on a Swan Boat. Don’t miss checking out the many statues in the park either.

Boston also features a number of amazing museums, including the Museum of Fine Arts, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum as well as attractions like the New England Aquarium and Boston Public Library.

If you’re hungry, Boston doesn’t disappoint with options. The North End features Italian cuisine and fresh seafood.

Boston is also home to many prestigious colleges and universities. Take a visit to nearby Cambridge to tour Harvard University and learn about its history.
