College Basketball Fans Arrive at Sky Harbor
Phoenix Sky Harbor is no stranger to large sporting events, as demonstrated last year for the Big Game and earlier this month, when college basketball fans arrived in Phoenix for the College Basketball Championship games.
Months of planning took place and additional airport staff were in place to ensure that all passengers, whether they were here for the games, or just visiting Arizona had a pleasant and exceptional experience when travelling through the airport.
Phoenix Sky Harbor has a dedicated reputation for elevating the customer experience for travelers and that was on full display for fans as airport staff handed out mini PHX basketballs and greeted them with a smile.
The local host committee also had photo opportunities, a DJ playing music, and a dribble contest in both terminals as passengers collected their bags to head out to the festivities.
