Employee Volunteer Program
At the beginning of 2024, the City of Phoenix Aviation Department started an employee volunteer program. As a part of the Airport’s strategic plan, the goal was to promote volunteerism for employees and better serve the community. In just the first four months of 2024, Phoenix Sky Harbor employees have participated in nine events throughout the Phoenix community and volunteered more than 140 hours.
In that short time, three airport employees reached the milestone of volunteering at least eight hours of their time. They are Richard G. from the Airport’s Business & Properties Division along with Latasha M. and Alex C. of Human Resources. Congratulations to Richard, Latasha, and Alex for their volunteer commitment.
