WTS - Employer of the Year Award
Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport representatives recently attended the annual Scholarship and Awards Ceremony put on by the WTS Metropolitan Phoenix Chapter. The City of Phoenix Aviation Department was recognized as Employer of the Year for demonstrating exceptional dedication in fostering a workplace where women thrive. The Department scored highly in promoting women to leadership roles, who serve as inspiring role models for others.
Through innovative initiatives, mentorship programs, and comprehensive support networks, PHX has created an environment where women are not only welcomed but also empowered to excel in various roles within the airport community. By actively encouraging diversity, the airport has cultivated a rich tapestry of talents, skills, and perspectives that enrich the workplace and contribute significantly to the airport’s success.
