WNBA All-Star Game Lands in Phoenix
It has been an engaging summer for teens in the Youth Aviation Academy in partnership with New Pathways for Youth and the Support Sky Harbor Coalition.
Youth ages 13-18 completed a six-week program with their mentors, where they got to learn about Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, career opportunities in aviation, as well as receive behind-the-scenes tours.
Participants toured the Airport’s Rental Car Center, Southwest Airlines ramp and Operations Center, and engaged with many of the City of Phoenix Aviation Department groups that keep Phoenix Sky Harbor running and operational 24/7.
