Catch a Game, Visit a Museum and More in Pittsburgh
Allegiant Airlines recently announced nonstops service flights between Phoenix and Pittsburgh starting Feb. 7. This is in addition to American and Southwest’s flights. Haven’t ever been to Pittsburgh? Now is a perfect time to start planning your trip. The city offers a variety of outdoor activities, culinary delights, and cultural activities. Here are some ideas:
Checkout the Andy Warhol Museum to see the life and work of this contemporary artist and Pittsburgh native.
Visit the Carnegie Museums of Art and National History to see many ancient artifacts, dinosaur exhibits and more.
Pittsburgh has a long sports heritage history and industrial roots. Explore both at the Heinz History Center.
If walking, hiking and biking are more your speed, check out the Three Rivers Heritage Trail which features scenic views along Pittsburgh’s three rivers.
Sports enthusiasts love Pittsburgh. Depending upon the time of year, catch a Steeler’s, Pirates, or Penguin’s game.
Pittsburgh also offers a great selection of craft breweries. Head to Market Square in downtown Pittsburgh to try a variety of cafes and restaurants.
