Air Service Updates

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport will welcome Porter Airlines this fall. Starting Oct. 3, the airline will offer daily, round-trip service between Toronto and Phoenix. This is a new airline for Phoenix Sky Harbor.

Southwest Airlines will bring back nonstop service to Birmingham, Alabama on peak days of the week starting Nov. 3. The airline previously served this route in 2012 and will be the only airline in the market to fly this route nonstop. Additionally, Southwest will add seasonal daily nonstop service to Des Moines, Iowa on Nov. 3 and seasonal daily nonstop service to Wichita, Kansas on Nov. 4.

American Airlines announced expanded service from Phoenix to Mexico starting Nov. 5. The airline will now have two daily flights to Cancun and increase its flights to Puerto Vallarta with three daily flights. American Airlines operates flights to 12 destinations in Mexico from Phoenix.
