Earth Day at Americas Friendliest Airport®
Phoenix Sky Harbor celebrated Earth Day on April 22 with members of the Phoenix Sky Harbor sustainability and recycling teams throughout the terminals promoting sustainability efforts and programs at the airport. Prizes were given out to passengers for spinning the wheel and answering sustainability questions correctly. Travelers were greeted by Amelia the Airplane and an Earth Day globe. Flight Information Display Systems in the airport were also turned green in celebration of the occasion. Learn more about PHX sustainability efforts.
