Memories of a Lifetime Await in Hawaii

Sandy beaches, warm hospitality, glistening waters and more await visitors to the islands of Hawaii. The most difficult part of your vacation though is deciding which island to visit.  Not to worry, from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport you can easily get to the islands of Hawaii with a variety of nonstop flights.

Oahu

A drive around the island will take visitors to lookout points like Lanikai Beach and Makapu’u Point. Visitors will recognize Kualoa Ranch from the Jurassic Park movies.

 

Maui

Maui is another very popular destination for visitors. The beautiful island is known for its breathtaking views. In addition to beach activities, visitors can enjoy hiking along the Iao Valley State Park trails or in the Haleakala National Park. Driving the Road to Hana is also very popular and visitors are treated to lush rainforests, waterfalls and more.  Whale watching is also popular from December to April.

Kauai

Known as the Garden Isle, Kauai stuns visitors with its natural beauty. Waimea Canyon is known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific and offers scenic overlooks and breathtaking views. Another popular activity is exploring the Na Pali Coast. Visitors can take a boat tour or even a helicopter ride to see the beautiful coastline and scenery. The Wailua River offers visitors an opportunity to take a river cruise or kayak down the river to explore waterfalls. There’s also much hiking and beach exploration to be done across the island.

 

Big Island of Hawaii

The Big Island of Hawaii is most known for its volcanic landscapes. Visitors can explore Hawaii Volcanoes National Park where they can see volcanic activity. Hikers will enjoy Akaka Falls State Park which takes visitors through the rainforest to see beautiful waterfalls. For those into coffee, they won’t want to miss the Kona Coffee Farms where they can take a tour to learn more about how this famous coffee is made. The town of Hilo also offers various cultural attractions from Liliuokalini Gardnes to the Pacific Tsunami Museum. Of course, visitors can also check out the island’s unique black sand beaches.
