Phoenix Sky Harbor Employees Give Back to Their Community
The City of Phoenix Aviation Department was thrilled to start 2024 with an employee volunteer program, celebrating the community the airport serves. As a part of the airport’s strategic plan, Aviation Department employees are encouraged to volunteer in the community and in return are rewarded for their efforts.
Since the start of the year, Aviation Department employees have volunteered more than 350 hours. Employees who have reached at least eight hours of volunteer time this month include Tricky B. in Public Relations, Elizabeth “Biz” G. in Technology, Danielle P. in Facilities and Services, Taylor S. in Planning and Environmental and Willisha W. in Human Resources. Alex C. from Human Resources has also reached the milestone of at least 16 hours of volunteer time.
