Thank You Phoenix Sky Harbor Firefighters
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is served by two fire stations with dedicated firefighters ready to answer the call 365 days a year.
Ahead of International Firefighters Day, both Stations 29 and 19 got a visit from Aviation leadership and staff who dropped off gift baskets to show thanks and appreciation for the work they do. Airport Rescue Firefighters respond to a number of calls throughout the airport. From medical emergencies in the terminals to aircraft alerts on the runways, these specially trained firefighters work to keep employees and visitors of the airport safe.
