We All Thank You for Answering the Call
National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week is recognized every year across the country, and this year our Communications team celebrated with some Phoenix-themed fun.
Aviation Staff at the Public Safety and Security Command Center were treated to special PHX surprises throughout the week. Sarah Demory, Assistant Aviation Director and Chief Operating Officer, along with Amelia the Airplane stopped by for a quick visit to kick off the festive week. Navigator Buddies Cooper and Cane, also joined in on the fun, greeting the employees with waggish grins and puppy kisses.
Just last month, Aviation Dispatchers answered more than 37,000 calls for service. So, whether it's airport emergency services, a work order or just general airport information, thank you to our telecommunications professionals for always answering the call.
