Employee Spotlight: Aviation Dispatcher Ignacio C.

Having started as a Passenger Service Assistant, Ignacio has built a career at the airport and loves where he works now as a dispatcher. Ignacio handles a variety of responsibilities, including customer service calls, emergency management, and monitoring both airside and landside operations.

Ignacio enjoys turning difficult situations into positive experiences. He emphasizes the importance of knowing point-of-contacts across all airport divisions, allowing him to quickly resolve any issues that arise. His friendly and outgoing service contributes to the airport’s good reputation.

Ignacio believes that showing empathy and kindness can significantly alleviate the stress of flying. One of his memorable moments involved locating a family’s heirloom blanket that had been lost in the terminal but quickly reunited thanks to his relentless efforts.
