Meet Cooper, the Top Dog at PHX!
Paws up for Cooper, our official Aviation Doggie Director! This paw-some Staffordshire Bull Terrier is more than just a good boy, he’s a tail-wagging ambassador of calm and kindness. Known for his gentle, fur-tastic nature, Cooper ensures that every traveler at Phoenix Sky Harbor feels right at home with a friendly woof and a warm nuzzle. Of course, he never goes anywhere without his trusty handler, Navigator Linda Pessin, by his side. Together, they’re a paw-erful duo, tackling airport stress with cuddles and charm. Cooper has a natural knack for sniffing out solutions, making even the ruff-est days a little bit brighter.
Cooper earned his stripes as a Navigator Buddy, and recently took first place in the ultimate tail-wagging showdown, the Doggie Director Competition! This event was part of the City of Phoenix Community Service Fund Drive, where employees donated $1 per vote for their favorite Navigator Buddy. Thanks to Cooper and his furry friends, they raised more than $5,500, making it the most successful CSFD event in the City. Now that’s something to bark about!
