Wings for Autism Takes Flight Again

Phoenix Sky Harbor proudly hosted its ninth annual Wings for Autism® event, providing families with children on the autism spectrum an invaluable opportunity to rehearse the airport experience. More than 150 participants had the chance to navigate through airport security, board a flight, and even taxi around the airport on a real plane.

The airport again partnered with The Arc of Arizona, Inc. and American Airlines, whose contributions were instrumental in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Families left with greater confidence and familiarity with the travel process, empowering them for future journeys.
