Culture Corner Celebrates Black History Month
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport hosted its second Culture Corner activity on Feb. 10, featuring a Learn & Go session in celebration of Black History Month. The event showcased powerful performances from spoken word artists Brotha Anthony, James Sesay, and Abdul Speaks, along with a tall man and hand drumming performance spearheaded by Jamoke’ Farrow.
The showcase highlighted local artists whose talents have been nurtured in Black communities, reflecting the deep cultural roots and artistic traditions therein.
The Culture Corner, located post-security in the south concourse of Terminal 3 near Gate F3, features monthly programming celebrating diverse cultures through music, art, and live performances.
