Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport turned into a playground for the next generation of aviation enthusiasts and potential employees. The City of Phoenix Aviation Department hosted a Take Your Child to Work event in July. More than 100 kids received an immersive experience of firsthand knowledge into what it takes to run the Airport. From an Airside tour to seeing the tools used by our Facility and Services Division to meeting the K9’s used by the Phoenix Police Department Airport Bureau, the kids received a unique perspective of the variety of jobs the Airport has available for the future generations.
