It is hard to think cool thoughts with the mercury hovering over 110 degrees, but the festive holiday season is not far away…especially when making travel plans.

America’s Friendliest Airport® is already making plans too. The 12 Days of Gratitude customer appreciation initiative, that debuted last year, will be back this winter for an encore performance beginning Dec. 4.

Over the course of the 12 days, passengers will find activities taking place both pre-and post-security in both terminals. They will have the opportunity to win prizes, take their photo with our mascot Amelia the Airplane, take photos with Navigator Buddies, chances to participate in art activities and more. There will also plenty of chances to share gratitude whether it is through the USO and thanking the military or on a provided paper airplane of gratitude that will be displayed in the terminals through the holiday.
