Birdwatcher’s Report

Did you see this bird fly recently? The Arizona Cardinals team plane is a familiar sight taking off from Phoenix Sky Harbor, however, the passengers getting on board in its latest visit were not of the usual group. This was a special flight, carrying select high-school aged students from all across Arizona on a trip to Washington, D.C., in support of civic engagement. This is the second annual trip organized by the Arizona Cardinals in partnership with Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs, Close Up Washington and Civics Matters Arizona. The plane is a Boeing 777-200ER, which had approximately 250 students on board.
