Because Security is Everyone’s Responsibility
At Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, safety and security are our top priorities. "SOAR" - Secure Our Airport Responsibly – is our security program. Its goal is to help law enforcement and Airport security identify suspicious activity.
Some examples of suspicious activity that passengers or the community may observe:

People conducting surveillance of the airport

Taking odd or unusual photos

Someone leaving luggage unattended

Vehicles in unusual locations

People asking unusual questions

Excessive or unusual loading of supplies

People who report suspicious activity could receive a reward check for $35. City of Phoenix employees who report suspicious activity can receive up to four hours of paid time off.
